Book Review by Crystal J. Casavant-Otto

When I started reading about Madison Grey and Cole Harris the first thing I fell in love with was the tension between the two of them. They were as real as you and I and that's a quality I can appreciate. Though both are good looking, they are down to earth individuals who aren't afraid to toss a little sarcasm into the conversation. In addition to the great dialogue between characters, there is also just enough baggage to make both Madison and Cole come to life. She is divorced and he has a somewhat interesting past himself (I won't be a spoiler here). This isn't your typical love story with characters who have perfect lives, overflowing bank accounts, and lives you could never relate to. The characters are well written and very real which helps the average reader (like me) relate.

This is a story you could enjoy any time of year, but particularly a great read during the holiday season. If you enjoy movies like Serendipity and other holiday movies set in New York, you absolutely MUST add Mistletoe Bachelors to your TBR pile. In addition to everything previously mentioned, this is a quick read. I couldn't put the book down and enjoyed every page. The plot kept my interest throughout the book and I truly hope Jennifer Snow writes additional books about Madison and Cole. I enjoyed the characters so thoroughly that I want to find out what happens next for them!
