It's hard to believe we're beginning the start of another holiday season. It seems like just yesterday we were saying "Happy New Year" to each other. With a million reasons to be deeply troubled this year, many of us escape into books to get away from it all. That's why at WOW! Women on Writing, we wanted to express our gratitude with our "Thankful for Books" giveaway.
We're excited to bring so many of our favorite authors together (several of whom have been on tour with us lately!) in yet another major group giveaway.
Here's how it all works:
Much like our last giveaways, we will have three winners. One grand prize winner will receive the grand prize of our $200 Amazon gift card, free entry into one of WOW's writing contests (each contest has over $1200 in cash prizes!), and a large collection of books that will give them a much-needed escape. Two winners will receive the same collection of books as well and free entry into one of WOW's contests too!
This giveaway is only open to US readers, and we'll be sending out physical book copies to all winners.
To enter this giveaway, scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter the Rafflecopter form. The giveaway ends November 20, 2023 at 11:59 PM Central. We'll announce the winners the next day!

Hope Always Rises by Kathie Giorgio
In Heaven, there is a special gated community for those who end their lives by suicide. This is a complete surprise to Hope, a 43-year-old woman, who ends her life one morning on the banks of the Fox River in Waukesha, Wisconsin. All residents in this community are required to attend weekly group therapy, led by someone who also committed suicide, and Hope’s first group is led by Virginia Woolf. Hope meets many new friends, who help her restore her forgotten artistic talent and passion, and God himself, who is amazingly human in the most inhuman of ways. As for Hope, she does exactly what the title says: Hope Always Rises.

Can you imagine all the things you like, love, and adore in one book?
Let’s be honest. We tend to forget how amazing we really are. It is easy to see it in others, but when it comes to seeing ourselves, we tend to have bad vision.
This is why I wrote this book! All your favorites are captured at one time with space to write more. How often do we brag about ourselves, take time to think about what makes us happy, or do the things we like? If I had to guess, not as often as you would like. You deserve to brag about yourself, so why not? Not only is this a bragging book, but it is a book of ideas you can use to start your next project, business, career move, or anything your heart desires.

In When Mama Grows with Me, a mama and her son create their own garden, starting with just a few small seeds and ending with a beautiful display of flowers. They observe how pollinators help the earth stay healthy, learn how to care for plants, and meet other critters that live in their garden, all while playfully shaping their bodies into yoga poses inspired by nature. Not only do Mama and her son learn valuable lessons about their garden, but along the way, they also learn to practice patience.
By pairing lessons with movement, Rebecca Wheeler helps young readers make connections between the natural world and their own emotional experiences. Learn the value of patience and practice some fun yoga poses in this beautifully illustrated children’s book.
