I got BE AS YOU WISH YOU SEEM. This is really weird because. . .I am in a moms' group here called MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) and this year our theme is Be You, Bravely. I am on the steering team and we each had to pick a quote that we felt we needed to work on this year. Mine was: "Sometimes I have to remind myself that I don't have to do what everyone else is doing."

ReplyDeleteNumber 8 on being a happy, joyous person: There is a lightness, a physical lightness, to people who radiate happiness: those who truly love life. It's contagious and uplifting. Negativity and depression are heavy and weigh-down everyone around the negative person. By exuding a natural and sincere joy, one can avoid adding to the burdens of those around us. Happiness is a gift to be shared.

ReplyDeleteI've been living that way without knowing it. I have always wanted to appear calm to outsiders and I have successful at doing that. Well, I have on MOST occasions. I’m continuing to gain peace and wisdom as I get older. Internally, I’m becoming more and more like the person that people see each and every day…and I love it.
I got number eight and found it to be very profound. There are times when I struggle with being a happy joyous person but make a strong effort to do it for those who love me.
